剧情 ( Synopsis )

回到60年代

20岁的毕天高Tango，艺术天份高，性格散漫随和，是个没有脾气的男生。爷爷是个退休老师，老看他不顺眼，没点男孩子的样，不务正业，不学无术，但是奶奶最疼爱就是他。

奶奶个性温柔，对脾气暴躁爱唠叨的爷爷百忍成金。二人从年轻省吃俭用，一直到老，奶奶都没有什么享受到人生。奶奶竟然得了轻微的老年痴呆症！Tango前去探望。

奶奶说话颠三倒四的，反而比没患病前风趣许多，也许之前就是太压抑了吧。无意间，奶奶说起自己年轻时的往事，说自己当年可是轰动一时的阿哥哥公主！参加阿哥哥舞蹈比赛后，得到冠军，是整条村子的风云人物，连当时“万草油大王” 的独生子“万草油王子”也对她有意思。Tango听了，根本不信，也不想去向爷爷求证，反正他对凶巴巴的爷爷没什么好感。

奶奶整天闹失踪，大家把她送进疗养院，怎么忽然就莫名其妙的陷入昏迷！全家人都很焦急，Tango还被指责疏于职守。

Tango不知怎的，走进一个古怪的树洞，等爬出来时，竟然置身在60年代！

难道，这就是传说中的穿越时空？

Tango当了打杂的

Tango性格乐观，既来之则安之。他隐约记得奶奶说过，住在加东一带，于是想办法走到那里去。可是真的不知道奶奶是住在哪一条街哪一间房子？天高有点后悔，之前整天说忙，都没注意大人说自己的往事。现在真是求亲不得了。

很幸运的，Tango无意间和一个少女香妹邂逅，找到落脚的地方。香妹的爸爸是个斤斤计较的老裁缝，却懂得赚钱之道，把小小的屋子隔成很多小房，当起包租公，包租公让他住睡在厕所外面的床位，但是要他打杂兼当香妹的保镖，来抵房租。

Tango很快就和左邻右舍打成一片，也适应了没有冷气，没有电脑的环境。保守的社会风气，简单的生活条件，浓浓的人情味，快如闪电的闲话，容易快乐的情怀，这就是60年代的风情画了。尤其是单纯的香妹和非常恨嫁的裁缝学徒妙妙，时常对Tango放电，让他疲于招架，为Tango的怀旧生活迸出很多火花。


原来奶奶吹牛皮

民风虽然保守，但是少年少女的心，始终是热情的。一有什么流行讯息，也很快在社区里传开。例如一年一度的盛事，万草油商展又要村子里一个月后就要举办了。而重头戏就是：阿哥哥公主跳舞比赛！这种出风头的事，是所有摩登活跃的少女都跃跃欲试的。

Tango发现那个舞跳得最好的女子叫娜娜，娜娜已经是去年的阿哥哥公主，今年也有把握蝉联。Tango以为娜娜就是自己的奶奶，但是问清楚了又不是！那奶奶到底是谁呢？原来竟是收留自己的小气裁缝之女，那个保守胆小，说话好像蚊子叫的香妹？！

Tango弄清楚了，原来一直以来，自卑的奶奶都把娜娜的事迹当成是自己的，向孙子吹嘘。Tango同情的想着：看来奶奶是很羡慕娜娜，也很想当阿哥哥公主。如果此时在昏迷的奶奶从此不醒，算不算是带着一个遗憾离开人世呢？

他决定帮奶奶完成这个阿哥哥公主的梦想。

Tango has never been close to his straight-laced grandfather, who disapproves of his lifestyle and interests... With his Grandma, however, there’s more affinity. But since he started working, he’s not visited her in a long while. Since she started to suffer from mild Alzheimer’s, her conversational topics have become more interesting. Claiming to be “hot” in her youth, she said she was the A-go-go Princess of her village and had many suitors, amongst whom, was the “Prince of Medicated Oil”.

Grandma’s lapse into a coma throws the family into anxiety. The family keeps vigil at her side and Tango has been sent to buy supper. On his way, he accidentally walks into an odd looking tree hole and when he climbs out, he finds himself back in the 60s!

Never one to be overly concerned, he vaguely remembers that his grandma mentioned something about staying in Katong and makes his way to find her. He hadn’t paid attention to the details and doesn’t know exactly where though. By chance, he meets Xiangmei, a meek girl who takes him in. Her calculative Tailor father makes Tango pay his dues as a “jagah”, odd-jobb helper and her bodyguard. Tango soon adapts to a simpler life without the convenience and comfort of modern amenities.

Tango hits it off with the upright Bi Haoren (literally Mr Nice guy, who is always trying to get everyone around him to be virtuous people), and because of his close friendship with the latter, Xiangmei gets to know Haoren as well. But as luck would have it, Tango realises that Haoren would age to become his stuck-in-the-rut gramps!

The much-anticipated annual “A-go-go Princess” competition is around the corner once again and Tango gets to know the ravishing and nubile Nana, last year’s A-go-go Princess, whom he initially thinks was his grandma. He’s mistaken... His grandma is actually Xiangmei, the four-eyed girl with no looks and who is mostly barely audible! Ah~ It’s all starting to make sense. The inferiority complex in granny had led her to pass Nana’s story as her own and she must have been envious. Tango is sympathetic and plans to realise his granny’s dream... And to ensure that his granny doesn’t marry his fuddy-duddy gramps!
